Can we pick up additional copies of the print book as an Add-on?

Yes you can. When the campaign is over you will have the opportunity to pick up more copies with BackerKit. We don’t have prices yet for Add-ons, but will update that soon.

I'd like the book and the dice but I can't spend $150. Is there a way to do that?

Yes. You can pick up dice and/or other merch when the campaign ends in BackerKit. If something shows up during the campaign you want, but it’s not in the reward level, you can pick it up when you check out with BackerKit.

Do we get a signed art print for RANDOM NPC or CANON FODDER levels? It looks like art is being created for those levels.

Great catch! Something had to fall through the cracks, and we missed that in the final editing of the reward levels.

Yes. You get a signed print of the art on all RANDOM NPC and CANON FODDER reward levels, just like BACKGROUND CHECK and ZETA FOUR. Sorry for that omission. We’ll correct that in the reward matrix and update that if we create new reward levels. Unfortunately once the campaign is launched, we can’t edit the reward levels.

SIDE NOTE: This is also true for MONSTER ENTRY if and only if we create specific art for that monster.

I live in Canada and $30 seems like a lot to pay for Shipping & Handling from the US for the TREESLAYER level. Is there a different option?

We are limited in how to apply shipping to international backers in the reward pledges. You could back the project at a lower level than TREESLAYER, and pick up a Print on Demand Add-On in BackerKit later when the campaign is over if you want a print book at a lower potential shipping price to Canada. The shipping would be determined by DriveThruRPG.

Can you make a reward level that's just the deluxe book in print and the PDF? Likewise, maybe a higher level reward that's THE CIPHERSPACE CODEX plus the deluxe book in print?

In a word, no. The prices we set for those reward levels would have been the same had we not included the tattoos or the membership card. You are only paying for the book and the PDFs. The membership card and tattoos are on us! The temporary tattoos cost us pennies to include and have always been a fan favorite. We made the decision to include those as freebies. The membership card in CHAPTER LEADER is the same story. We wanted to create something special for that level and included it again as a freebie.

I want to buy the physical book but I don’t see it available. Are you selling physical books as add-ons? Yes we are, but you have to be at the $25 STARTER KIT reward level or above to see it.

Why is International Shipping so expensive? Right?! We sadly have no control over this. Please also be aware that you may be responsible for import duties, and that we must comply with international law and cannot mark your reward as a gift or as a zero-value item. Duties are not included in your shipping charge.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
