What's left? The Hell have we been doing anyway?

How's everyone doing? It's been a while. Since like July. A lot of things have happened since then, yeah? How are your games going?
First, I just want to personally apologize for how long it's taking the fulfill the rest of what we promised. Primarily:
- The Player's Guide PDF
- The Adventure PDF
- The Backer Videos (Dear Sally and Monster Vids)
A couple of you I still owe art prints and Sally prints. And of course, any of you who had rewards related to the comic, well we're at the whim of whenever those bozos get back up and running. Good news is, I hear that Honeycutt is nearing the end of his backlog.
Not being in the publishing business first and foremost, I just didn't anticipate how long it would take a few things. I definitely learned that we over-promised a bit. But, I'm committed to fulfilling those promises, even if it is late.
Player's Guide & Adventure PDF
In the past two weeks I've worked with people's schedules and got The Player's Guide and The Adventure PDF back on track. Jimmy's currently tackling the latter, and Cam will be tackling the former just after the election. Good news is, MOST of both of these have a lot done already.
The Player's Guide: Will contain a new set of tables for randomly generating your Concept Aspect. Cam has also written up some further tips on how to write aspects. You also get further info on Ciphers and The Warehouse! Here's a sample from Jimmy's section on Ciphers:
Information has always been the Demon Hunter’s greatest weapon. Sure, everybody knows how to handle the classics: stake a vamp, silver a werewolf, unbrain a zombie. But the weirder stuff requires research. And that leads us to the one question we get more than any other:
Why the #$%&*@ robot?
We hear it all the time. It’s the 21st century and you’ve got a touchscreen supercomputer in your pocket! Why should you have to lug around a half-ton of automaton when you can access the sum total of accumulated human knowledge without even getting off the toilet? Look, we get it. Ciphers are kind of a bummer to be around, but they’re not there to entertain you. They’re there to keep you alive, and the way they do it is a bit more complicated than a lousy Wikipedia search. Let’s take a step back and have a look at what a Hunter’s life was like before Ciphers to see how good you modern Hunters have got it.
Pre-15th Century
Let’s say you’re out wandering around the Black Forest and you need to figure out what the hell that furry thing was that just vomited a swarm of bloodsucking butterflies at you. Time to head to your not-so local library and start reading. And reading. And reading. If you’re lucky, it might only take a few hours to find the info you need, but the weirder the monster, the smaller the chance you’re gonna actually find a book about it. Sure, there are other options available. You can always go the mystical route; consult the local oracle or conjure up a genius loci. They might know how to find and kill this fuzzy bug-barfer, but you’re putting your life in the hands of otherworldly powers that don’t necessarily have your best interests at heart. No thank you. Instead you’ll have to scour the region for universities and private collections and weird occult bookshops. Maybe it takes weeks. Maybe months. Maybe you never figure it out at all, and that monarch-spewing monstrosity just gets to live out the remainder of its creeptastic life. If only someone kept all this $#&@ in one place...
And of course there will be SIX playable Chapters of Demon Hunters pregenerated for your gaming pleasure.
Adventure PDF
We have 5 missions that we're creating, complete with sample DMCs. Each mission will have a Mad Libs style element where you could randomize things and make the mission totally new each time you play it. These missions will be:
- Burnout!: Investigation of a weird phenomena (SHC!) which leads to a reveal of a much more sinister plot unfolding.
- The Haunted Theatre: Investigate a ghostly tragedy, and hopefully not become one yourself!
- Chaos in Hell Week: Students are studying for their finals at the local university... or are they playing video games... TO THEIR DEATH!
- Escort Duty, Pirates Attack!: What could go wrong when your team is assigned to escort something or someone very important?! Might be that M.O.N.S.T.R.E. has an interest in your cargo.
- The More You Gnome: Madness ensues when ordinary garden gnomes animate and start killing the residents of a local asylum with gardening tools.
Backer Videos
Both of the categories that created videos that backers contributed to have been factored into a new series we are developing for our YouTube Channel. It's called Demon Hunters: S.O.L. and will be short bits that illustrate what life is like in the world of Demon Hunters. Those of you who contributed to those videos will be receiving the scripts shortly for what we have planned. We hope to shoot a few of these in the next few months.
In Case You Missed It!
We've also been busy with developing the screenplay for this:
And let's also not forget that we are CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION of...
The Gamers: The Shadow Menace
